Jared walked into his first BJJ class in 2007 at 21 years old because Brad asked him to. Two decades later, he is one of the most decorated martial artists coaching in BC.

A third degree black belt with a 13-4 MMA record, Jared holds wins over former UFC fighters, Ultimate Fighter champions, and BJJ world champions. He is the reigning kickboxing world champion, boxing champion, and BFL MMA world champion — and still gets on the mat every single day. He has prepared multiple UFC fighters for competition and currently coaches ranked UFC fighter Loopy Godinez and professional fighter Jamey-Lynn Horth.

Born in small town Manitoba, he found BJJ on the West Coast and never looked back. When he's not on the mat, you'll find him watching hockey or basketball with his cousin Peter.

Brad Is the Thinker Behind RebelFire. While Jared Built One of the Most Decorated Fighting Careers in the Region, Brad Was in His Corner for All of It, Serving as the Lead Tactical Mind Throughout His Entire Professional Fighting Career.

He Is a 2nd Degree Black Belt Who Obsesses Over the Why Behind the How. He Built a Solid Competitive Resume Winning State and Regional Titles Before His True Calling Emerged in 2012 When He Started Coaching.

Off the Mat He Is a Family Man First, Spending His Time With His Wife Mandi and Their Daughter Charlie.
